Building Relationships that Count.
“Client satisfaction is my main goal. It is important to get to know every client, strive to understand both their desires and needs, and then work hard to meet their expectations.”

Jeff joined Melton & Melton in 1978 as a staff accountant and worked his way through the ranks until being made a partner in 1984. His work is in the audit department and focuses primarily on the oil and gas, energy, construction, Non-profit, and employee benefit plan industries. He is a good resource for technically complex accounting issues and has experience helping clients go public or sell their businesses.

Jeff has a “never say never” attitude—he is always looking for ways to approach seemingly unapproachable accounting issues. He credits his success to the strong work ethic that his parents, first-generation immigrants, passed along to him, as well as their unwavering support. He was inspired to pursue a career in accounting by his first instructor on the subject.

Jeff lives in Houston, which he enjoys for its liveliness, diversity and international flavor. He is involved in the University of Houston Alumni Association. During his free time he can be found traveling, reading, or enjoying art and theater.
